Pick a Pumpkin in Forsyth County, GA!

For years we have been going to Kinsey Family Farm to pick out our annual pumpkin. In the past we ventured out to Burt’s and other North Georgia pumpkin farms but with small children, we decided to stay local and support a local family business.

The farm features hayrides, goats and fish to feed among other fun things. There are picnic tables if you would like to bring a picnic lunch. They also have a 25,000 square foot nursery and during the holidays you can pick out a Christmas tree.

The farm is open every day in October and features a wide variety of pumpkins as well as apples, gourds, corn stalks, indian corn, straw bales, and much more! We had our daughter’s birthday party there last October and it was a wonderful time.

September 24 – Oct. 31, 2011, Monday – Friday 8 – 5 pm, Sat. 9 – 3:30 pm
Hayrides are $2 per person. Fish food $1
